Refunds and Cancellation
PrepVault. Last updated 21 September 2026.
PrepVault Pro is a monthly subscription. This page explains how to stop paying, and when you can get your money back. It forms part of the Terms and Conditions.
Who you actually pay
Payments are handled by Paddle, who act as the merchant of record. That means your receipt comes from them, they hold your card details, and they process refunds. PrepVault never sees your card number. Paddle's own buyer terms apply alongside this page.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, from the link on your receipt or by emailing us. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum term.
- You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- After that you drop back to the Free plan automatically.
- Nothing is deleted. Your syllabuses, answers, mastery scores and streak all stay exactly as they are. Only the daily allowances change.
Refunds
- Your first payment. If PrepVault is not what you expected, ask within 14 days of that payment and we will refund it in full.
- A renewal you did not mean to pay. Subscriptions renew automatically. If a renewal caught you out, tell us within 14 days and we will refund it, provided you have not used a meaningful part of that period's Pro allowance.
- Part-used periods. If you cancel partway through a month you have already paid for, we do not refund the unused days. You keep Pro for the rest of that period instead.
If something was broken
If Pro did not do what it says, because AI marking was failing or rooms would not generate, that is a different matter. Tell us what happened and we will either fix it or refund you, whichever you would rather have. This is not limited to the window above.
How to ask
Email your-email@example.com from the address you signed up with, and include your receipt number if you have it. We aim to reply within 3 working days. Once a refund is approved it is processed by Paddle, and how long it takes to appear depends on your bank.
Your legal rights
Nothing on this page takes away rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in, which in many places includes a cooling-off period for things bought online. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian may need to make the request on your behalf.
Changes
If this policy changes, the version that applies to you is the one published on the day you paid.
